REUSABLE PROGRAM COST
5% for the Environment
Launching our reusable program means we need a team responsible for storing, tracking and sanitizing containers, among other logistics associated with the program. Because of this, all subscription customers participating in our re-usable will receive a 5% weekly discount on our meal plans, as opposed to the 10% subscription discount (that uses post-consumer recycled / recyclable single-use containers).
Please note: The reusable program is only offered to our local delivery and pick-up customers (not shipping).
RETURNING / TAKING CARE OF YOUR CONTAINERS
When to Return Your Containers
Your reusable containers should be returned during the following week's delivery or pick-up.
Local delivery customers — please leave your rinsed reusable containers in your YAYE bag by your front door (or wherever you receive our deliveries) on your next delivery day so that our driver can return them to us.
Local pick-up customers — please drop off your rinsed reusable containers at your designated YAYE pick-up site when you pick-up your next set of meals.

Cancelled But Still Have Containers?
If you cancel your subscription and still have our reusable containers, you must return them to a YAYE drop-off/pick-up site (view YAYE pick-up sites here) within 2 weeks of the date you received them to avoid a fee. If you cancel your subscription and still have a future delivery scheduled, you can request that we deliver your final set of meals in single-use containers (instead of reusables) so that you don’t need to worry about returning them later on.
Fees
Failure to return any reusable containers (after 2 weeks of receiving them) will result in a $10 charge per container. If you return your containers after the deadline and you've already been charged, we will return 50% of the fee total back to your account in the form of YAYE store credit.
Damaged Containers
If a container is returned with any damage, we will process an appropriate fee based on the damage. This will be a case by case basis, so please reach out with a picture if one of your containers break.
Washing
Please ensure that all containers are thoroughly rinsed before returning them (if you use the dishwasher, please only use the TOP RACK), and please be careful not to damage or remove the tracking sticker, as this is how we track each container. We will wash and sanitize each container returned to our kitchen as well! THANK YOU! 🌎♻️
